- I have a few of the original Rarebreed FRT’s and have only installed one in an AR and ran one 30 round magazine through it. Shortly afterwards I started seeing the malfunctions folks were having because of the trip bar spring getting kinked, which I personally think is because of the geometry of the location and angels of the holes that the trip bar “return” spring are located/set at.
- The FRT’s that I have are not three position, and I’m trying to find out if:
- 1. Is there a kit to upgrade the original FRT’s to a three position?
- 2. Is there a fix for the trip bar return spring geometry to prevent the kinking/damage of said spring in the original FRT’s
- I don’t know if this would be a warranty claim, nor have I found any warranty information for this product.
